IUDM

Throughout all four years of college, I was actively involved with Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM), one of the university's largest student-run philanthropies benefiting Riley Hospital for Children. I began my involvement as a First Year Dancer Experience (FYDE) participant during my first semester, where I was introduced to IUDM's mission and fundraising efforts. Following FYDE, I spent the remainder of my college career on the Marketing Committee.

The Marketing Committee is responsible for capturing and sharing the impact of IUDM through photography, videography, graphic design, and storytelling. Through creative content and event coverage, the committee helps showcase the organization's mission, engage supporters, and highlight the experiences of students, families, and Riley Children's Hospital.

In 2024, I served as Culture Chair, leading initiatives that strengthened engagement and fostered a collaborative, welcoming environment for more than 60 committee members. I organized team-building events, encouraged member involvement, and helped create a positive culture that supported both personal connections and the committee's creative work.

Over my four years with IUDM, I raised more than $6,000 for Riley Hospital for Children, contributing to life-saving pediatric care, research, and family support programs while helping advance the organization's mission of making a difference for children and families across Indiana.

The photographs featured below represent a selection of the event coverage and storytelling work I contributed throughout my time on the Marketing Committee, capturing the energy, community, and impact of IUDM.
